About This Tour
We will take you to the most interesting sights in Brazil, the most beautiful scenes of Pantanal and the Amazon, you will be immersed in the nature and you will learn about the history of Salvador de Bahia. Rio de Janeiro, located at the Guanabara bay, flanked by gorgeous mountain. A centre of culture and education, a place that never sleeps and a place where luxury coexists with extreme poverty. One of the main features of the trip will be a visit to Corcovado, which is known worldwide for the 38-meter statue of Jesus atop its peak, entitled "Christ the Redeemer". Considered the largest art deco statue in the world, with its open arms overlooks the city. You will visit Sambodrom, Maracana, Brazilian favelas and world-famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. You will be charmed by the seductive sounds of samba, the sound of joy and élan. You will visit amazing Iguazu falls: Ridavavia, Two and Three Musketeer, Santa Maria and the Devil's Throat. The Amazon jungle is a place where thousands of species of fauna and flora chose to live.
You will have a chance to learn about culture and customs in Brazil and it means meeting people. Brazilians are open, happy, enjoying life people, and they show it with simplicity. This place has enchanted visitors for centuries, and there are dozens of ways to be seduced.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Flight to Rio de Janeiro
Arrival to Rio de Janeiro.
DAY 2: Foz do Iguazu
Flight to Foz do Iguaçu, the picturesque land of one of the biggest waterfalls in the world. Transfer to a hotel, check in and a dinner.
DAY 3: Foz do Iguaçu – Brazil, Argentina
After breakfast we will have an expedition to waterfalls on the Brazilian side. The place on the border of two countries, where the river Iguaçu gives a show. The highest of 275 waterfalls is Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Walking through a wilderness you will reach the Devil’s Throat. After a photo session and a dinner we will cross the border. On Argentinean side waterfalls create wonderful view, you will be surrounded by the beauties of nature. You can take an optional water safari at the bottom of the waterfalls. After the whole day spent with the nature we will come back to the hotel for a dinner.
DAY 4: Cuiaba – Pocone – Pantanal
Breakfast, transfer to an airport, flight to the capital of the Mato Grosso State – Cuiaba. Next we will drive to Pocone, called the Door of the Great Pantanalu. The road to the city is famous for its wooden bridges and Pantanal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the place where we can experience what Theodore Roosevelt and Percy Harrison Fawcett were writing about. Transfer to a lodge in the heart of the jungle, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 5: Heaven and Hell
After breakfast we will take you on an expedition to Pantanal, a tropical wetland and the world's largest wetland of any kind. Its fauna and flora make a wonderful open-air zoological garden. You will have a unique chance to observe Caymans, Peccary, Capybaras, Saddle-billed Storks, herons, ibises, Anodorhynchus leari, toucans, cormorants, hummingbirds and many others birds and animals. We will come back to the lodge for a dinner.
DAY 6: Raymond Maufrais, on the footsteps of a lost traveler
Breakfast. A boat cruise to a place where anacondas and tapirs are common visitors. After lunch you will fish piranhas and participate in a water safari and you will learn about life of always hungry caymans. Return to the lodge, dinner.
DAY 7: Cuiaba – Brasilia – Manaus
After breakfast we will transfer to an airport and fly to Brasilis, the capital of the country, one of the most famous urban world projects. We will visit the city and afterwards fly to Manaus. Transfer to a hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 8: Forest People – the Amazon
Breakfast and a short visit to the rubber city, the Indian Museum and a harbor. Transfer to Rio Preta de Eva and a boat cruise to a lodge. Check in at the lodge and a lunch with a crocodile dish. Next we will go to an indigenous village, whose inhabitants cultivate traditions of their incestors. During the boat cruise on the River Igarapes we will have an opportunity to observe Amazonian Caymans. Return to the lodge, dinner.
DAY 9: The Amazon – Flora and Fauna
After breakfast we will have an expedition up the river Igapos, during which we will explore a variety of Amazonian tropical plants and their amazing healing qualities. We will have a dinner in a jungle. During this expedition you will have a chance to take a waterfall shower or a river bath. Return to the lodge, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 10: Rio Negro and Solimoes
After breakfast you will enjoy last moments in the heart of the Amazon. After lunch we will take you to Manaus. During the cruise you will whiteness an extraordinary phenomenon: a meeting of two rivers, dark waters of Rio Negro and yellow waters of Solimoes. This two rivers form the longest river on the world – the Amazon. Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 11: St. Redeemer
Breakfast, transfer to an airport and flight to Salvador de Bahia, the former capital of the Portuguese colony. Transfer to a hotel located at the one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil. Repose at the beach, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 12: Salwador de Bahia – History and leisure
Breakfast. We will start exploring the two-level city from visiting a lighthouse, the Monte Serrat Fort and a crafts market. We will visit the Nossa Senhora do Rosario dos Pretos Church and the museum of Carmelites. Lunch, transfer to the hotel, leisure at the beach, dinner.
DAY 13: Samba and Bossanova means Rio de Janeiro
You will have some free time after breakfast and next you will be transferred to an airport. We will fly to “Ciudade Maravilhosa” – the Wonderful City. Transfer to a hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 14: Rio de Janeiro – 7 New Wonders of the World
After breakfast we will leave the hotel for a day trip to Cosme Velho. We will drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, take a cable car over the Tijuca forest to the Corcovado hill, where we reach the statue of Jesus: “Christ the Redeemer”. We will take few minutes for a photo session at the point overlooking Rio. Then we will drive to favelas, the other side of Rio, where people build their houses with anything that is available.
We will return to the hotel for a dinner and attend a Samba Show, a revue of Brazilian folklore and Brazilian carnival outfits and a Capoeira and Malambo show.
DAY 15: Rio de Janeiro – The Carnival City
Breakfast. We will drive to the Loaf of Sugar, the peak at the Guanabara Bay. There is an amazing view over the bay, a bridge joining Rio with Niteroi and the Corcovado Mountain. We will visit the centre of the city and a Cathedral. In the afternoon we will take you to the Sambodrom, the famous carnival place and the Maracana Stadium. Afterwards we will organize an optional trip to the museum of Gems. Dinner and return to the hotel.
DAY 16: Copacabana and Ipanema
After breakfast you will have some time to relax at the most famous Brazilian beach, Copacabana. We will have a farewell lunch and transfer you to an airport. Departure to Europe.
DAY 17: Zakoñczenie Imprezy
Return Home.
